2016年校内华语艺术歌曲独唱暨合唱比赛 Interclass Chinese Art Songs Solo and Choral Ensemble Competition 2016

2016年5月27日及28日，恒中合唱团举办了2016年校内华语艺术歌曲独唱暨合唱比赛。此项比赛秉持着一贯的宗旨，即提升团员们的歌唱技巧及提供团员们一个发挥歌艺的平台。
On the 27th and 28th of May 2016, Heng Ee High School Choir Organised the Interclass Chinese Art Songs Solo and Choral Ensemble Competition 2016. The aim of this competition is to enhance the members’ vocal techniques and to provide a stage for the members to showcase their talents.
参赛者于比赛前30分钟到报到处报到。
The participants registered themselves 30 minutes before the competition started.
比赛开始前，参赛者在音乐室（二）内做好万全的准备。
Participants prepared themselves at Music Room (2) before the competition began.
初赛评判老师———李晓云老师及周宏伟老师。
The judges for the preliminary round were our school’s choir coaches, Miss Lee Xiao Yun and Mr. Chow Hong Wei.
参赛者在台上把选唱歌曲发挥得淋漓尽致，让在场的观众都听出耳油。
The participants showed their best on stage and had mesmerized the audience with their melodious voices.
决赛当天，本团邀请了3位老师担任比赛评判，即黄涵曦老师、陈雪霞老师以及周宏伟老师。
Heng Ee High School Choir invited three teachers as the judges for the final round.
评判老师们专心地聆听参赛者所呈现的歌曲。
The judges listened to the participant’s song with utmost attention.
比赛结束后，周宏伟老师给予参赛者简单的讲评以及建设性的意见，以便参赛者能在往后的比赛中有更出色的表现。
At the end of the competition, Mr. Chow Hong Wei gave a short talk and advice so that the participants could do better in the future.
本团顾问老师，林月馨老师赠送纪念予劳苦功高的评判老师们，以示感激。
The teacher adviser of the Choir Club, Madam Lim Gwek Sim presented souvenirs to the judges as a token of appreciation for their time and expertise.

The winners of the Upper Boys’ Category were happy when the result was announced.
筹委们的付出与牺牲，让此次校内歌唱比赛得以顺利进行，圆满结束！
The hard work and efforts of the organizing committees had made this competition a great success!
