2016年6月25日，本校合唱团重返槟州大会堂，参加了“六秩韶光” 文娱晚会。夜幕低垂，总是萦绕着美妙的音乐，才会闪烁星海熠熠的光辉；掀开红幕，总是伴随着悠扬的歌声，才能享受奢华的音乐盛宴。六十年的风雨兼程，恒毅国民型华文中学合唱团自成立以来二十二年的奔波旅途，萌芽、茁壮、成长，绽放艺术的魅力，吟唱艺术的不朽。纵使泅渡惊涛骇浪，我们依然执着追求的梦想，让青春的翅膀，带领我们的心，飞跃幸福与泪光。
This year, our school’s annual concert named “60 Exuberant Years” was held on the 25th of June at Dewan Sri Pinang. It was a great opportunity for the choir members to showcase their talents. Even though there have been setbacks and obstacles, we held hands together to endure change and persevere through. We unswervingly believe that exaltations and joys will eventually come in the moment of performance on stage.

The school choir’s coach gave a few words of encouragement to the performers before their debut performance.
当晚，合唱团团员们以大合唱的方式呈献两首曲风截然不同的歌曲，分别是《牵手》以及《大板城姑娘》。
The school choir presented two melodious songs, 《牵手》 and 《大板城姑娘》.
合唱团团员们余音绕梁的歌声，让在座的观众都听出耳油。

本团团员吴铤耀同学呈献一曲独唱《思乡》。他那丝丝入扣的深情演唱，激发了游子思念故乡和亲人的情怀。
A member of the choir, Goh Ting Yao presented a song 《思乡》. Using a melancholic resonance, he emitted a sense of nostalgia toward their hometown in everyone’s heart.
合唱团团员们以表演唱的形式呈献《Stand by Me》，《Just The Way You Are》以及《Hey Soul Sister》。
The choir members presented a choral performance consisting of three well-known songs, “Stand by Me”, “Just the Way You Are” and “Hey Soul Sister”.
合唱团团员们精心为这首组曲编排了多元的舞步，风格创新，让在座的各位叹赏不绝。
The choir members danced while singing along, leaving the audience in awe.

Ong Peik Kiat sang the solo part for “Just the Way You Are”.
花靖盈同学及吴铤耀同学担任《Hey Soul Sister》的领唱者。
Huah Jing Ying and Goh Ting Yao were the solos for “Hey Soul Sister”.
